This cardinal wire sculpture is made of 16 gauge steel wire and attached to a unique driftwood base.

Dimensions-Height: 6.75 inches, Length: 10.75 inches (beak to tail), Depth: 3 inches

Sculpting with wire allows me to define form and imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize and develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied.

I hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that my methods are kind to the environment as well.
