This kangaroo wire sculpture is created using one strand of 16 steel gauge wire and is attached to the driftwood shown in the photo.

My wire sculptures are one-of-a-kind, three-dimensional wire drawings. They continue to delight viewers as their appearance changes depending on the angle from which they are being viewed.

I do not mount the sculptures on canvas, paper, or plywood and they don’t require a frame. I do not paint my sculptures, so solvents are not used. The sculptures are very light therefore shipping takes less energy. It is my hope that my work reflects my love of the natural world and that it is kind to the environment as well.

Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece is not rust-proof. Personally, I enjoy the rust patina, but if you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of clear spray varnish may be applied.
